Title: DALC Childcare Coordinator (Dover)
Description: Join the Dover Adult Learning Center team in a part time professional position that allows you to nurture learning for both children and adults.
Provide daily onsite childcare to children of adult students, including appropriate and diverse activities for various age levels, 6 weeks to 6 years. Ensure safety in childcare room and equipment. Orient parents and children to childcare expectations and procedures. Communicate with parents about children’s needs, concerns and progress. Prepare and oversee staffing schedule. Maintain enrollment and attendance records. Supervise childcare assistants. Interact regularly with other program staff. Request and/or purchase supplies as necessary.
Qualifications: Two years experience in a childcare setting; High School graduate or equivalent; Certificate or degree in early childhood education preferred; up-to-date CPR & First Aid certificates; Familiarity and comfort in a computing environment; Ability to form warm, caring relationships with a diverse population of adult learners.
Rate: $20.00 – $24.00/hour
